A TOOL FOR IMPROVING WEB ACCESSIBILITY

In november 2010 a group of volunteers launched fixtheweb.net. The aim of the organisation is to act as a means for disabled people to report difficulties they have experienced with particular websites. These reports are taken forward, by volunteers who submit them to website owners with a request that they investigate the issue and rectify any problems.

People can register either as reporters (I.E. to report problems with websites) or, alternatively as volunteers who take forward problem reports with website owners.
