Yesterday my wife, daughter and I visited Noodle Time, a Chinese restaurant located in Crystal Palace.
It took quite a while for a waitress to come and take our orders, however once we had ordered the food arrived very quickly. The restaurant was very busy (it was Mother’s Day after all) which may explain why the initial service was somewhat slow.
I had sweet and sour pork with rice which was very good. My daughter tucked into beef and rice which she pronounced to be tasty, while my wife had small pieces of fish which was (to all our tastes) far to salty, (I got up several times in the night to drink due to that fish)!
Noodle Time is not a place to take your loved one for a romantic meal as the surroundings are basic and the restaurant is aimed at those wishing to enjoy a quick bite to eat rather than people in search of an evening’s dining out. Having said that we paid £14.10 for 3 meals and a bottle of beer which is, by any standard extremely good value for money.
