A recent issue of the New Scientist carries an interesting article entitled “forever Online, Your Digital Legacy” (see It discusses how much of the material we create online will survive after our deaths and whether that which is preserved will be the data we would, ourselves wish to carry on existing following our demise. Other topics discussed include teaching the net to forget and how we can make sure that our digital creations are treated in accordance with our wishes.
