An interesting article in the Telegraph concerning Apple’s Icloud (the cloud allows you to store music, ebooks and other data in cyberspace without the need to retain physical back-up so, in theory no more need for retaining that spare hard-drive under the bed or wereever you keep it)! The cloud has lots of potential, however, as pointed out in the article the downside can be seen in the hacking of Sony’s playstation. Some computer users will see the Cloud as a risk worth taking while others will retain that clunky hard-drive under the bed gathering dust. Me? I’m undecided, (I use Drop Box but have no intention, at the moment of embracing Apple’s Icloud).
