HUMANS MAY BE EXTINCTION PROOF

yesterday (12 June) I posted regarding Henry King’s poem, Sic Vita. In the poem King compares man to a bubble which will soon be burst “and man forgot”. A recent article in the UK’s Daily Mail challenges this perspective by arguing that mankind is, in fact extinction proof. According to the piece modern farming has ensured the survival of humanity and even with climate change the potential for the survival of the species remains good.
